Invention Item Perks Guide Introduction Item perks are created in Gizmos using various components. Each perk has it's own special effects and usually has several different ranks that affect the strength of the perk itself. Typically, the higher the perk level, the better the perk is. There are certain ways to ensure you get a specific rank of your desired perk using specific components as well. This guide will show you which perks Ataraxia has, what they do, and what components you can use to make them. Where to Start To begin making perks, you need to create Gizmos. Gizmos can be created at the Inventors Workbench located in the Invention Guide near Falador. In this guide, we wont be going over all of the details regarding how all of that works, if you'd like a more in-depth guide to Invention please look here. If you're looking for a specific perk that you know of the name of, use CTRL + F and type the name of the perk to jump right to it! Drop rates are configured to take ~250 hours of gameplay to complete one set from any of the above sources. There are 3 sets to complete, one for each combat type: Vanguard (melee): Trickster (ranged): Battle-mage (magic): nxt flex Helm (5 tokens): +2% damage, +297 armor, +32 hp Body (7 tokens): +3% damage, +341 armor, +64 hp Legs (7 tokens): +3% damage, +326 armor, +48 hp Gloves (3 tokens): +1% damage, +68 armor Boots (3 tokens): +1% damage, +68 armor Full set (25 tokens): +10% damage, +1100 armor, +144 hp More Information: Hybrid tokens and the armor pieces are untradeable. What's good everyone, I'm Steez aka Sorceri in game, I used to play here maybe a year or so but figured I'd do another intro since its been awhile. I'm from Houston, Texas working in the construction industry - currently doing residential code inspections. It's been really cool to see how the server has progressed since my time here and i'm looking forward to gettin in good with the community again. Aside from playing in my spare time I'm also pretty heavily involved in the underground music industry here as a producer. I make trap/r&b mainly but i'm currently learning sound design to get into dubstep/riddim. If you see me in game don't hesitate to say whats up! https://open.spotify.com/album/7Fa7eNxIGpdUZnn0F08kbF?si=QE0LQnHmQVuUIh0pWPWoCQ

Invention Guide Introduction Invention is an elite skill that requires you to collect materials by disassembling items in-game and discover blueprints that allow you to use those materials to create items that will help you along your adventures in Ataraxia whether it be Skilling or Combat. Invention can seem quite daunting at first glace for new players and this guide is aimed to help you get on your feet so you can go out there and make those gains! Disclaimer - this guide is mainly focused for new players on regular accounts Requirements 80 Crafting 80 Smithing 80 Divination Where to start - First of all you're going to want to make sure you have the all the requirements once you've got those Invention will be unlocked and it's time to make your way to the Invention Guild! Getting there is simple first of all you open the Quest Tab and select the button, after that you want to navigate to the bottom of the 'Skilling' Tab and it will be labled "Invention Guild". TLDR - Quest tab > Teleports > Skilling > Invention guild. The Invention Guild Now that you've made your way to the Invention Guild it's time to get to work, step inside and you'll be greeted by a workbench, this is where you will discover all your blueprints and craft all your new items. This bench is split up into two sides, if you highlight over the left hand side it says 'Discover' and this is what you will click to discover your blueprints and if you highlight over the right hand side it says 'Manufacture' and this is how you will craft the items using the blueprints you have just discovered. Now before you do anything else you will want to discover your chargepack, you do this by clicking on the left side of the workbench and selecting the item and filling the slots with the puzzle pieces around the side and pressing prototype until it finally fits together (it can be quite tedious) you will have to do this with every item you unlock even some specific materials such as Zaros/Explosive/Armadyl/Seren/Noxious the best way to do this is everytime you unlock something come back and discover it so they don't all of a sudden pile up on you. Disassembling items is pretty simple to do, all it requires is you to navigate to the Spell Book and use the light bulb option and select an item inside your inventory and it will automatically start disassembling in chunks of 60, some items will give you a warning and the way to turn this off is by doing the following; ;;settings > Misc Settings > Disable disassemble warning (WARNING: This could lead to disassembling items by accident) Now that you understand the basics of discovering blueprints it's time to talk about what you should disassemble and what items you should be making, if you're focusing on combat you will spend most of your time crafting things such as Augmentors/Divine Charges/Gizmos and some of these can be a pain to make in bulk so i hope you've been saving up those gold coins because now will be the time to use it. First of all we will talk about augmentors as these will be one of the first items you will need to make before you can start levelling invention properly. Augmentor Materials Needed || Red=Rare/Uncommon Green = Common - x225 Incandasant Energy [Collected from Divination, PvM and other players.] (Refer to the price guide) - x45 Base Components [Collected from breaking down Swords from the G.E (Higher tier = Better chance)] - x45 Tensile Components [Collected from breaking down Shieldbows from the G.E (Higher tier = Better)] - x45 Flexible Components [Collected from breaking down Shieldbows too (Higher tier = Better chance)] - x8 Enhancing Components [Collected from breaking down Jewellery Items (Mages' Books work best)] - x7 Powerful Components [Collected from breaking down Magic items; Armour/Runes/Staves (Soul Runes and Battlestaves to work best)] Weapon Gizmo Materials Needed || Red=Rare/Uncommon Green = Common - x10 Blade Components [Collected from breaking down Swords and Darts (I used Rune swords and Addy darts)] - x5 Crafted Components [Collected from breaking down Arrows/Summoning Pouches/Scrolls (I used Araxyte Arrows and Steel Titan Pouches/Scrolls)] - x2 Strong Components [Collected from breaking down Melee Armour and Weapons (Addy/Rune Platebodies seem to work well)] Armour Gizmo Materials Needed || Red=Rare/Uncommon Green = Common - x10 Deflecting Components [Collected from breaking down Melee/Mage armour or Shields (you will get these whilst going for your protective components so dont worry)] - x5 Crafted Components [Collected from breaking down Arrows/Summoning Pouches/Scrolls (I used Araxyte Arrows and Steel Titan Pouches/Scrolls)] - x2 Protective Components [Collected from breaking down Melee Armour and Shields (Addy/Rune Platebodies seem to work well)] Divine Charges Materials Needed || Red=Rare/Uncommon Green = Common - x225 Incandesant Energy [Collected from doing the Divination Skill or obtained from PvM, you can also purchase from other players in-game] (Refer to the price guide) - x20 Simple Components [Collected from breaking down Logs/Darts (I have found that buying off-hand adamant darts from the G.E have worked best for getting these components, you will recieve 2-7 per action)] Side Note; These will be somewhat hard to farm at the start but once you unlock the Divine-o-matic vacuum it speeds it up a fair bit. Now we have talked about the most common items you will spend your time creating it's time to talk about levelling this skill up so you can progress towards Max cape. Once you've fully understood the basics of disassembling and discovering the skill become much easier to understand and also much faster to level, the main way we are going to level this skill is by augmenting gear levelling it up. Augmenting Gear The way you augment your gear is pretty simple, essentially all you do is add and augmentor to a piece of armour or a weapon but not all weapons and armour are augmentable and not all pieces of armour are augmentable right off the bat, what I mean by this is when you first start you will only be able to augment weapons until you get to the respectable level to augment other parts of your gear. Side Note; Only t70+ gear can be augmented This image shows you the levels you will need to be able to augment a certain piece of your gear and it also shows you the level you need to increase the level cap of your year (we will get into this later) Use this image as your guide to know when you're able to unlock the next piece of augmented gear, but dont forget to discover the blueprint for not only the next possible augment but also the maximum level cap. Levelling items and Disassembling Levelling gear is what you will mainly be doing from here on out and this is where most of your XP will come from at the start, at first you will only be able to get gear to level 5, so get together some old tier 70 weapons and augment them and do some slayer or bossing and they will passively level up in the background, if you highlight over the weapon you can see the XP and Level of the item; Once you get the item to level 5 you'll want to navigate back to the disassemble button and disassemble the weapon and you should do this until you are level 27, once you're at level 27 you can then level your weapons (And body armour) WARNING: Only Disassemble gear you're willing to lose and can be replaced easily! Note: Level 10 is the best level to disassemble gear as it yields the most amount of XP Siphoning Equipment So now that we have talked about levelling up gear and disassembling you may be wondering if you have to disassemble everything and the answer is NOPE, once you get to level 27 you unlock the Siphon and once you discover it and use it on a piece of augmented gear it allows you to get the XP from a weapon or a set of armour without destroying the item, the drawback to this is that you have to get your item to level 12 to get the full amount of XP and this takes a lot longer than level 10 but it's a lot better than destroying valuable gear. Progressing to 99/120 Once you've got your head around this skill it's simple and somwhat straight forward from here on out, it's just a case of augmenting gear getting it to level 10 and disassembling it or getting gear to level 12 and siphoning it if you don't want to destroy the item, do slayer or bossing to level gear up and you should be on your way to getting the 99 cape and even the 120 cape! Side Note; The XP for 99 is 36m and 120 is 80m due to this being an Elite Skill The End Now it's time to take this information and apply it to your Invention training, i hope this guide has been helpful enough to get you started with the skill, i know it can be confusing at first, we were all there at one point in time, if you were looking for a more in-depth guide that talks about perks either this guide will get updated or a new guide will be created for that kind of information, i wanted to keep this as simple as possible for all the new players and players that have never done this skill before, thank you for making it this far and i hope you enjoy your stay in Ataraxia!

The Magister I will post a video guide soon, keep an eye out. The Magister is a high level solo boss found in the depths of the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon. The fight can be accessed through the Diamond-tier donator ;;bp command, or by running through the Dungeon itself. When you reach the First Gate, you have arrived. What you need: 99 Range (recommended) 99 Constitution (recommended) 95 Prayer, or 99 Prayer and Desolation unlocked 115 Slayer, which is 63,555,443 xp - you can use the ;;virtual command to toggle virtual skill levels.) High tier or BIS Ranged equipment is recommended. A 'Key to the Crossing' [key image] - required to start the fight; it can be obtained as a drop from all the monsters in the Sophanem Slayer Dungeon Perks Recommended, by priority The Pyromaniac - allows max non-brewed health up to 1366 LP Soul Siphoner - provides 25% more healing from Soul Split - stacks with Vampyrism & the Amulet of Souls Prayer Betrayer - decreases prayer point drain by 25% Ava's Secret - recovers ammo, without having to wear an Alerter/Accumulator Recommended Gear & Inventory: This is my personal setup. I can get sub 1-minute kills with it and I almost never die, even tanking most of The Magister's abilities. However, if you do not have all the gear above, follow this progression below. If you aren't confident in how well you can survive, bring more brews & restores. If you do not have a Seren Godbow or a Decimation (i), don't bring an Adrenaline flask. Gear Progression: Helm: Reaper hood > Sirenic mask > Superior morrigan's > Refined Anima Core of Zamorak > Superior Death Lotus > Pernix cowl Body: Sirenic top > Superior morrigan's > Refined Anima Core of Zamorak > Superior Death Lotus > Pernix body Legs: Sirenic top > Superior morrigan's > Refined Anima Core of Zamorak > Superior Death Lotus > Pernix legs Gloves: Ascension grips > Deathtouch bracelet > Tracking gloves > Swift gloves > Pernix gloves Boots: Hailfire boots > Glaiven boots > Pernix boots Amulet: Amulet of souls > Reaper necklace > Farsight blood necklace > Blood amulet of fury Ring: Ring of wealth (c) > Ring of death > Perfect ring > Archer's ring (i) > Archer's ring Cape: Completionist (trimmed) > Completionist (untrimmed) > Enhanced fire cape > Max cape > Ranged kiln cape (TokHaar-Kal-Xil) Weaponry: Seren godbow > Ascension crossbow w/ kalphite repriser > Dual Ascension crossbows > Noxious longbow > Decimation (i) > Shadow glaives > Zaryte bow Ammo: Ascendri bolts > Ascension bolts | Araxyte arrows Aura: Supreme vampyrism highly recommended. In max gear, this boss is cheesy and can just be ran through with just Vampyrism, Soul Split, and the Soul Split bonus from an Amulet of souls, easily outhealing all damage he deals. However, in lesser gear, you may have difficulty tanking everything and might have to dodge and evade certain attacks. The Magister's Abilities & Attacks: (credit to the rs.wiki for most of this information, and to Armar for confirming some mechanics) The Magister primarily attacks with magic using a twirling animation. After three auto-attacks, he randomly uses one of the following abilities. The auto-attack counter resets to zero after the Magister reaches 15,000, 10,000, and 5,000 life points. Ability 1: Power Blast The Magister charges up a ball of red lightning before launching it at the player, dealing ranged damage. He will slam his staff on the ground and cracks will appear, followed by the attack. Ability 2: Unstable Mixture The Magister yells "Dodge this!" and throws an explosive vial next to the player with randomly set time of 2.4 to 4.8 seconds. When the timer expires, the bomb explodes and damages anything (including the Magister himself) in a 5x5 radius for 400 life points, and 200 to familiars. You have the option of kicking the vial away, and if the player is facing the Magister, then the vial explodes and only damages him. Ability 3: Shadow Step This attack has two variations. If the player is next to the Magister, he will yell "Stand still!" then will bash the player and dealing moderately heavy melee damage which stuns and binds them for 3 seconds, before he darts away from the player. If the player is not next to the Magister, he will instead yell "You dare fight me?" and will barge towards the player's position and deal the same amount of melee damage. If you doesn't use Protect/Deflect Melee against this attack, then your prayers/curses are disabled for 3 seconds. Ability 4: Raising the Dead The Magister will yell "Those who fall shall rise again!" causing two imperial akhs to attack the player, which consists of any combination of imperial mage akhs, imperial ranger akhs, and imperial warrior akhs. These akhs have 1000 life points and only use auto-attacks and increase corruption by 2% upon being killed. No slayer level is required to kill them, and the Feather of Ma'at is not required to kill them off. The Magister rarely uses this attack. Ability 5: Soul Siphon The Magister yells "Your sacrifice allows me to live!" while using an Asphyxiate-like animation, dealing three hits of moderate magic damage which can be reduced; however, he will still recover health equal to the amount of damage it would have done unmodified (ignoring auras and prayers). There is one way to cancel the attack - you can run 7 steps out of his attack range after the first hit, and a game message appears when you succeed "You run away from the Magister's life draining attack." Realistically, you'd have to be about 6 steps away and have lightning fast reactions to move into the 7th step to cancel the attack, as the Magister starts the attack rather rapidly. The Magister does not use the Healing, Siphon, or Resonance abilities on Ataraxia. The Magister's Phases: (credit to the rs.wiki for most of this information, and to Armar for confirming some mechanics) You can view the current phase of the battle on the top left of your screen. The maximum corruption stack is doubled to 50% while fighting The Magister. However, it is not visible. Phase 1: Nothing special, just watch out for the 'three normal, one ability' loop. Phase 2 begins at 15,000 lifepoints remaining. Phase 2: The Magister will say "Your soul - it contains such power! I must have it!" as soon as the phase starts, activating the Soul obelisk. The obelisk will fire at the player, increasing a 'Soul drain stack' by 3 each time it fires, which can be seen below the Phase counter. This continues throughout the battle. These stacks decrease your maximum life points by 10 per stack, with no limit. Not only does it decrease your maximum health, but it also lowers the effectiveness of standard food - but Saradomin brews are unaffected by this debuff, which is why it is recommended to use them for healing. The stacks can also be negated by drinking a dose of a Super restore potion. Super restores remove seven of these stacks at a time. This obelisk has an infinite amount of life points, so it cannot be destroyed. Attacking the obelisk to restore health is time consuming as you only remove one stack per hit, and allows the Magister to continually damage the player without any repercussions. It is simply disabled when the Magister dies. Phase 3 begins at 10,000 lifepoints remaining. Phase 3: The Magister will start the phase by saying "Let us see how you fare against corruption." and will spawn a corrupted soul obelisk on the southern end of the room to damage your soul. Unlike the normal Soul obelisk, this one damages the player for 60 damage at set intervals and adding corruption stacks by 4%. For every percent of corruption gained, the player takes and inflicts an equal percent in additional damage. This obelisk has 2,500 life points. It is best to ignore the obelisk, as the corruption stacks it adds to the player increases the player's damage output significantly and the increased damage taken is generally mitigated with Soul Split. Phase 4: The Magister goes berserk, yelling "You will not defeat me!", increasing his damage output while losing some defence. Kill him off quickly before he can deal too much damage. As with all the other phases, continue avoiding his attacks until he dies. Slower players may also have to deal with imperial akh minions, and it's recommended to deal with them, since they only have 1,000 life points and deal significant damage that you may not be able to outheal. Upon his death, everything else dies with him - the corrupted soul obelisk returns to the ground, the plain soul obelisk becomes inactive, any minions that were with him will die, and if the corruption stack was over 25%, it is reset back to 25%. If he throws out a bomb before he dies, the bomb will still explode and damage the player and their familiar if they stand too close to it, so simply move away from it. Heal up before beginning another kill, as while all soul drain stacks are removed, the player's health will remain the same. Congratulations, you have killed the Magister! You're mainly going to be hunting down Phylactery which drops at about 1/18 per kill. It can be be cracked open to receive 5, 10, 15 or 25 Scrap of scripture With 100 scraps and 92 Crafting, it creates the blessings in the following order: Blessing of the Sand Blessing of the Sea Blessing of the Sky All three of these blessings can then be used on a main-hand or off-hand Khopesh of the Kharidian to create a Khopesh of Tumeken and the Khopesh of Elidinis respectively. You'll need about 600 scraps in total to make the both of them. They are the new best-in-slot melee weapons, at Tier 92. They can also be dyed to improve their look. Hopefully this guide makes your life just a bit easier.

Hey all! Mirrikuu here with an in-depth guide to Solo'ing Nex, And getting those sweet sweet T80's. Let's jump right in! Recommended Stats: 80+ combat stats 96 Herblore for Overloads 99 Summoning for Steel Titans 95+ Prayer for Anguish/ Deflect Prayers Of course being maxed is ideal, But these will be more than enough to see you through. What to Wear: Nex isn't weak to any particular style, however due to the nature of the fight, and being immobile at times, Ranged is the easy choice. I won't include setups for 92+ because you don't need them Head: Superior Death Lotus>Death Lotus>Armadyl>Karil Aura: Best Vamp you can access Neck: Farsight Blood Necklace>Farsight Sniper Necklace>Saradomin's Hiss>Fury Back: Comp>Max>TokHaar-Kal-Xil>Ava's Chest: Superior Death Lotus>Death Lotus>Armadyl>Karil Legs: Superior Death Lotus>Death Lotus>Armadyl>Karil MH: Shadow Glaive>Chaotic C'Bow OH: T70-T92 Repriser>Elysian Spirit Shield>Dragonfire Shield Boots: Glaiven Boots>Armadyl Boots Gloves: (If using Void)>Ascension Grips>Armadyl Ring:(Plat+ Perfect ring)>Ring of Death>Archers ring(i)> Onyx(i)>Ring of Wealth IMPORTANT: You can bring along a set of Ancient Burial armor (Which drops from Ancient Zaros troops and Nex minions) To SKIP the required killcount, and make all mobs neutral in the area.* *Set not needed with GWD Specialist Perk Void: Death Lotus: Ancient Burial Set: What to Bring: You'll have a chance to bank before actually fighting Nex with Ashuelot Reis just outside the encounter. Make sure to bring the Frozen Key and Ancient Burial set for Entry, and just some food in case you get hit before the frozen door. In your inventory for the fight you'll want: 2 Overloads 2 Prayer Renewals 6 Super Restores 3 Steel Titan pouches Fill with Sara brews Inventory for Fight: Inventory for Entry: Asheulot Reis: MAKE SURE TO BRING YOUR REPRISER FOR THE EMBLEM DROP IF USING A DIFFERENT OFF-HAND. How to get there: Nex can easily be accessed Via the Boss teleports, and selecting Godwars Dungeon. You'll then need to run south to the Frozen Door And go down the stairs. Pop Through the Frozen Doorway and If this is your first time, now's when you get your 25KC Once you've gotten you're 25 KC, you can go through the big door *. Or If you have An Ancient armor set, you can skip the killcount and go straight to the door. Pot up, swap inventories for the fight and hop down Fighting Nex: Phase 1: Fumus (Pray Mage /Anguish) Nex starts her first phase by channeling power from Fumus. Pray mage to avoid taking large chunk damage and to avoid being poisoned by this phase's special attack. When Nex states "Let the Virus run through you." She's placing a debuff on you which drops your stats over time. This effect is 100% canceled out by an overload. DPS Nex down, keeping an eye on your health until she tells Fumus not to fail her. That's your queue to swap targets to Fumus and Kill him. Phase 2: Umbra (Pray Range/Anguish) This phase Nex swaps to Umbra, turning her attacks to ranged. Swap prayers and DPS her down until she Calls out to Umbra. Her special attack for this phase is when she states "Fear the shadow!" She will place a small shadow Pool at the bottom of your feet which will pillar up for massive damage. Her Second Special attack; Embrace darkness, is not coded. You can ignore this prompt. Simply move away from the pool to avoid taking damage Shadow Pool attack Phase 3: Cruor (Pray Mage/Anguish) More of the same here, Nex Swaps over to Cruor and channels the power of blood. She'll start this phase out with a Siphon which is your queue to not attack her, because you'll heal her instead of deal damage. When she announces "A Siphon will solve this!"Just stop attacking Nex for 5 seconds and attack Cruor instead. If you have a Blood necklace or Vampyrism, you can still heal off of Nex's minions despite not dealing damage. Nex will also declare that she demands a blood sacrifice. If you're praying mage you can ignore this mechanic completely. Don't attack Nex While she's siphoning. You'll heal her. Phase 4: Glacies(Pray Mage/Anguish) Easily the most difficult phase of Nex is Glacies. She has two special attacks that you need to be mindful of. When she states "Contain This!" She will slam her fist onto the ground, and after 3 seconds ice spikes will pop up from the ground from where she hit. The spikes will knock out your protection prayers and prevent you from using them for a few seconds. The second special attack is "Die now in a prison of ice!" Nex will entomb you in a 3x3 grid of ice spikes which can deal over 800 damage. Your only option here is tank the damage with brews and DPS Nex fast. Melt Nex, Don't get hit By her Slam, and be prepared to chug brews. Ice spikes/Prison of ice Phase 5: Nex (Pray Melee/Anguish) We're in the home stretch now. This is thankfully another easy phase. Nex will swap over to mostly melee attacks, and will occasionally dash down one of the central paths. You can avoid this attack by standing near a Minion spawn location. The only thing special about this final phase is that Nex will swap prayers and near Death activate the prayer Wrath to do damage. DPS Nex down, stay near the walls and run away from Wrath. Provided you didn't panic, or underestimate Nex's damage you should have your first of many Kills. Good Luck to you, and I hope to see many more T80 sets floating around! Thanks for reading!
